Is iBuildMyCV really free?
Yes to start. You can create and customize a resume within Free limits without paying. PDF export needs a time-limited pass. If you have never bought a pass, editing stays free within those limits.
Is there a subscription?
No classic subscription and no auto-renewal. You buy a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day pass only when you need Premium editing and PDF export.
How much do passes cost?
24-hour pass €4.99, 7-day pass €9.99 (recommended), 30-day pass €19.99. Extra resume slots are available as a one-time add-on.
What happens when my pass ends?
Your account and resumes stay saved. You can still open the builder and play with a preview - those tweaks are not saved. PDF download always uses your last saved Premium version. Buy a new pass to save edits again.
Do I need an account to keep my resume?
Yes, for cloud save and re-download later. Without an account, the guest draft stays only in that browser on that device.
Can I try without an account?
Yes. Open the guest builder on desktop to draft a resume on this device, then sign in later to save it to the cloud.
Are the templates ATS-friendly?
Yes. Layouts use a clear reading order and standard sections so applicant tracking systems can parse your content reliably.
Do you support French and English?
Yes. The interface and marketing pages are available in English and French, with matching hreflang URLs.
